Salaried agent invitation

Salaried Agents are internal employees invited and managed by the Tailor. They do not manage subscriptions or company-wide settings.

1. Invitation process

The Tailor invites a Salaried Agent either during onboarding or later via Settings → Agents.

For each Salaried Agent, the Tailor defines:

• Agent Information:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Agent Type: Salaried Agent
• Permissions:
  • Self-Approved Sales (Yes / No)
  • Show Indicative Production Cost (Yes / No)
  • Show Indicative Customer Price (Yes / No)
• Pricing:
  • Agent-specific pricing per manufacturer, aligned to the sales strategy

2. Activation

• The Agent receives an email containing a secure invitation link.
• The Agent sets a password and activates their account.
• Upon login, the Agent gains access to their assigned workspace.

3. Workspace & capabilities

After logging in, the Salaried Agent has access to a restricted interface:

• Dashboard: Personal sales performance overview
• Orders: Limited to their own orders
• Customers: Limited to their own customers
• Fabrics:
  • Can add fabrics via the Fabrics section
  • Can add fabrics dynamically during order creation (e.g., by photographing a physical swatch)
  • Newly added fabrics become available to all agents
• Manufacturers: View-only access (no cost or pricing edits)

Restrictions: Salaried Agents have no access to company-wide settings.
